Beginning Band![]() Beginning Band Information:
4th Quarter: Beginning band students are currently working on developing breath support, embouchure strength, note and rhythm reading as well as good tone production. This quarter, students will be tested on the following scales and concert music: Concert Music: 1. Concert Bb Major Scale (quarter note = metronome marking at 120) 2. Advanced Band![]() Advanced Band Information:
4th Quarter: The Advanced band is learning the concert Eb and F major scales (woodwinds 2 octaves). Students are required to play them correctly in quarter notes at a metronome marking of 120. Students are also working spring concert music. This quarter, students should prepare playing tests on the following: Concert Music: 1. March of the Sharps and Flats - Click Here to Listen Example 2.
